The first 4000 years Jehovah communicates with humans, the next 2000 years is given to Jesus and he communicates with no one.
by smiddy inthe bible has ample evidence of god communicating with humans during the first 4 centuries.. since jesus time ,god has not communicated with humans at all .,in the same way as he did in the first 4 centuries .. in fact jesus has not communicated with humans in the same way as jehovah did for the first 4000 years., during his 2000 years to this date , .
does not the bible say , god does not change , he is the same today as he was yesterday and will be tomorrow ?.
so why was god communicating with humans on a regular basis , one way or another for 4000 years and then , neither jehovah or his son jesus christ ever directly contacted humans ?.

On the Relevancy of The Institutionalization of Sin
by Perry inchild murder, sodomy & corrupting the human genome are not new sins, they are old ones.
what is new is their institutionalization.
but even that isn't totally new.

Perry: Child murder, Sodomy & corrupting the Human Genome are not new sins, they are old ones. What is new is their institutionalization. But even that isn't totally new. It's all happened before..... before the flood and in Sodom & Gomorrah.
When compared to the hypocrisy in Christian religions the so called "godless" are minor league players in the world of gross sins against God. No homosexual can ever be as "sinful" as some of the kings and priests of Israel who promoted child sacrifice, Christian church leaders who tortured in Christ's name and the lying hypocrisy seen among many church leaders today.
No, Perry. Christians must first clean up their own house, take the rafter out of their own eye before casting a stone at people who have not sinned as they have!
Preserving the separation of church and state is vital to the preservation of Christianity in the U.S. Christian churches should mind the business of the church and stay out of the business of forcing government to do as the church would have it do.
Government should not attempt to force churches to believe as the government would have them believe. This is a fundamental pillar of our society which must not be allowed to be broken. For if were to be broken the churches will not win out and America will cease to be America.
So Perry, encourage Christians to clean up their act and let Caesar do his thing. According to the Bible God put him there and Jesus said we should give him what belongs to him. Paul called it honor.

I've been to New Mexico. You're referring to settlements, villages. The Jews did not build settlements or villages in the Sinai. They moved, stopped for a time, and moved again. No permanent structures were built. Along the New Mexico roads far from the old Indian settlements we did not find evidence of Indian habitation. Should we have concluded then that no Indians ever lived there? Hardly.
New Mexico is a beautiful state, btw.

Tazemanian-devil,
Believe what you will. Last time I walked in a forest, or drove the open plains, the place was not filled with the bones of animals over 2000 years dead. Indian pottery was not laying around or easily dug up. Indian tents, moccasins, and clothing were also not to be found.
Deserts change, the sands do not remain stagnant. At one time the Sphinx was covered in sand up to its neck. Just because evidence is not found of a people spending 40 years, a miniscule amount of time, in the Sinai does not mean they were not there.
But as I said, believe what you will.

Giza saw decades of construction. Yet, were it not for the pyramids, temples, cities, and burial sites, permanent structures left behind, there would be no evidence that people were there. And you believe a nomadic people should have left something? Walk the sands of Arabia where for thousands of years people have traveled and think again.

I have five comments on the article quoted above.
1. The U.S. Constitution bars the government from establishing a state religion or preventing the free exercise of religion.
2. Therefore, no church should be forced to perform same-sex marriages if such a marriage is against their beliefs.
3. Christians should not expect Caesar to abide by their beliefs and should refrain from attempting to deny the LGBT community their lawful civil rights. Separation of church and state is an established rule in the U.S.
4. Determining which church or church activity merits IRS tax exemption is difficult and risks the integrity of the church/state divide.
5. Whereas, taxing the real estate holdings of all churches and charitable institutions would be much simpler and would in fairness contribute to the expenses of the local community which bears the burden of providing services to all in the community including churches and charitable institutions.

"do you believe god is all-knowing, all-powerful and all-loving?
God is all-powerful. God loves those who love. God is all knowing in those things he wants to be all knowing in. Why should God care whether an amoeba exists or not?
That is foolish thinking.
